Injection Protocol Pro does not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal health data. Everything you enter into the App — your treatments, doses, injection history, body-site rotation, supplies, and reminders — is stored only on your device, encrypted, and is never sent to us or any third party. We don’t have accounts, we don’t use analytics, and we don’t know who our users are or what they’ve entered.
The rest of this policy explains that in more detail.
Health and treatment data. Everything you enter — treatments, protocols, doses, injection sites, history, notes, supply inventory, saved calculations, and reminder schedules — is stored exclusively in an encrypted local database on your device. This data:
Because backups are excluded, recovery is entirely in your hands. If you lose your device, delete the App, or switch to a new device without first using Settings → Export my data, your data cannot be recovered — not by you, and not by us, because we never had a copy of it. We recommend exporting a copy before switching devices. The App shows a one-time reminder about this after you finish setup.
We have no way to see, access, recover, or reconstruct your data. This isn’t a policy promise — it’s a structural fact of how the App is built: we never receive your data in the first place, so there’s nothing on our end to access, retain, or lose.
To be specific rather than just reassuring:
Notifications. Used to deliver dose reminders you set within the App. Notification scheduling happens entirely on-device via your operating system’s local notification system — this does not require or involve sending any data to us.
On Android, the App requests three permissions, all tied to this reminder feature: notification delivery, rescheduling reminders after your device restarts, and notification vibration. On iOS, no additional permission prompts are required for this feature. The App does not request access to your camera, photos, contacts, location, or storage.
The App is designed to function entirely offline for all core features — the Calculator, Treatment Library (bundled locally, not fetched from a server), logging, tracking, and reminders all work without any network connection.
Some future versions may include optional links to third-party retailers for injection-related supplies (not the substances themselves). If present, tapping such a link opens your device’s browser and navigates to the third party’s website; we do not transmit any of your App data to that retailer, and any data collection that happens once you’re on their site is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one. This feature is not active in the current version of the App.
The App includes a built-in feature (in Settings) to export your data as a local file, and to permanently delete all your data from the device. Because we never had a copy of your data in the first place, “deletion” on our end is not applicable — there is nothing on our servers to delete, since nothing was ever sent there.
The App is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and since the App does not collect data from anyone regardless of age, this is consistent with that broader design.
The App bundles its Treatment Library content locally rather than fetching it from a server, and does not integrate any third-party SDK that collects or transmits data (no analytics, crash reporting, or advertising libraries of any kind).
Because the App does not collect or store any of your data outside your own device, data-subject rights recognized under privacy frameworks including the EU/UK GDPR, US state privacy laws, and Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 — such as access, correction, deletion, and portability — are already fully in your control at all times via the App’s own Export and Delete features. There is no separate request process, because there is no external copy of your data for us to act on.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this document. If we ever change the App’s architecture in a way that introduces data collection where none existed before, we will update this policy prominently and, where required by law, seek your consent before the change takes effect.
